September 28th

I didn't do as much sketching this past week; in short, I was too busy.

Friday life drawing.
I used up my 12"x18" pad in the middle of the sessions, so I did a lot of my drawing on a 18"x24", which does not fit in the scanner. Fine. Scanning isn't fun anyway.

Blind:Wow. Two good blinds on the same page!

September 26th

I sketched these guys while I should have been doing homework.
These aren't observational or life drawings, but they're in one of my sketchbooks now and I think they're pretty neat.
From photo reference.

I attended some open model sessions today. From 1 pm to 7:30 pm. I took a break or two.

Blind:

It's an amazing feeling to do a blind drawing and have it come out looking good.

September 19th

Drawing I.
We have easels, but we were cutting paper on the floor.
This is a whole page, 8" x 10".

September 18th

A Tibetan Buddha statue (I think) at a fancy furniture store.
There were a lot of neat things to draw at the stores in town, yet I didn't draw anything else.

September 17th

Outside Cafe SCAD.
People walking by. Their legs were obscured by a low wall. Otherwise, I would've drawn them.

Turner House courtyard.
That is one well-potted plant.

September 15th

Matt Nathanson Band concert.
Great singer, mediocre band, forgettable songs, free entrance.

Matt Nathanson Band concert.
This person was in front of me. I like the rhythm of this sketch.

Matt Nathanson Band concert.
I guess this guy's name is Matt Nathanson?

Sptember 14th

Dyson House cookout.
The BBQ potato chips went fast. I missed them because I was sketching.

Luau at the pool. Tiny little thumbnail.
I didn't do a lot of good sketching; I was busy enjoying the event.

Luau at the pool.
This girl could really dance. I'm willing to bet she's majoring in preforming arts.
I had a tricky time trying to capture her motion with my pen.

Ex Libris bookstore.
Everyone is trying to buy supplies so the checkout line is like an hour long.

Professor Hicks, 2-D Design.

2-D Design.
It's such a tedious class.

Wallin Hall. C'mon, where's the bus, already?

September 10th

Waiting at the bus stop.
This little sketch is a real gem. It looks totally Glenn Vilppu.

Professor Ramsey, Drawing I.

Broughton Street in the morning.

Tiny little thumbnail. It's about 4x on the screen.
